Somedays it’s harder than others to get the necessary self-care happening. Especially when the 4-legged one is at cross-purposes to rehydrating one’s skin.
What is it about dogs and body lotion?
Bubble bath too. My dogs always loved to eat the bubbles.
I had forgotten about this quirk before applying the lotion in Bowser’s presence.
Note to self: future applications in the bathroom only, with the door firmly shut against intruders.

My cat used to lick my legs after I put a particular brand of lotion on. I can’t imagine that it tasted good, but for some reason, she liked it. Hard to know exactly what’s going on in their furry little heads. 😺🐶

That’s a hard ass no from me – no licking my legs or hands. I’m not a germaphobe but just can’t stand the wet tongue. Grosses me out, but obviously, I am not the majority in this. My kids’ dogs have finally figured out, “Don’t lick the old lady.”🤪
