Bowser’s feather fascination continues…I know not why. But as it buys me a few moments of peace, I also do not care.

We hope you find something equally fascinating this weekend.
Rock on,

Your dog is a sweetie. Looks like a fun loving animal.
“Fun” is Bowser’s middle name! (All dogs, really…they have so much to teach us about how to have fun
). Thank you
Oh, that face! Lord Dudley enjoys feathers as well. We gather big turkey plumes and bring them inside for him to chase….
What IS it about feathers?
Thanks, Rivergirl
Oh oh oh! You are another Schnauzer fanatic! I have two! Bowser is so darn cute and I am not surprised by his feather obsession. My old standard schnauzer and my daughter’s mini schnauzer were/are obsessed by feathered creatures. I know of one schnauzer who devoured a friends feather boa and fancy hat! Fantastic dogs.
They ARE fantastic dogs, and my favourite breed. Thank you, Amanda
Happy happy happy pup!
He definitely is! Thank you, Dawn
He’s such a handsome boy and I love the penultimate photo
He seems to be an endless source of amusement Deb, you gotta love him.
Leslie
I certainly do! He’s better than TV and almost as good as a good book for keeping me amused
. Thanks, Leslie
It is all good … until he decides to chase the feathers still attached to their hosts
Yeah, and the kids want to keep a few backyard chickens eventually. What could go wrong?
. Thanks, Joanne
That one photo (with the quill between his paws) looks like he is contemplating writing his memoires – which in his case would be a very short story.
Yes, a very short story indeed!
Thanks, Suzanne
Wish I could find such contentment in a feather!
Me too! Thanks, Kate
Perhaps his fascination is that he knows that he looks so darned adorable with that feather.
Absolutely gorgeous!!
Carol baskins keeps being random pigeon and dove feathers to the back door. I have to take them away or she will spend all day licking them.
Another feather aficionado? Maybe they “taste like chicken”
. Thanks, Kieran
Well, I guess that’s a step up from worms
Has he met Abby yet?
Yeah, definitely a step up from worms! Nope, he hasn’t met Abby yet. Hopefully someday after all the moving/painting/renovating settles down. Thanks, Janis
He’s a cutie! He’s gonna fill up your media files before he becomes a boring old dog. Bernie
And even then
. Thanks, Bernie
Having just spent yesterday with my one-year old grandson (and five year old granddaughter) I totally get how you feel about feathers! Bowz continues to wow with his cuteness, even in comparison with my cute grandhumans
Thank you, Debs
I get the whole feather thing. Levi used to collect them too and so do I now. I’ll bet they smell a certain way that makes canines think they’ve found something wonderful.
Based on results, I think you are right! Thanks, Jean
Hi Deb – now we know why he’s such a wonderful colour … matching his feathers! Cheers Hilary
