Silent Sunday – Christmas Lights at Milner Gardens

Dinner at the White Elephant first, in Parksville. Thai food, yum! With my daughter and son-in-law, and Donna and Richard.

Donna gifted me a pair. I had never heard of these.
This is what my balcony lights look like normally.
This is what they look like on drugs with the glasses on. Like I said, trippy!

Next weekend I am heading (with the fam) to check out the light display at Butchart Gardens, strictly for comparison/research purposes only 😉 . My daughter and I will be packing the trippy eye wear, for sure!

Rock merrily on,

  1. What a fun time with friends & family❣️ Love that you showed us what those trippy glasses do. I’ve never heard of them either – must look for a pair down here as this location needs some Christmas deco! 💕

  2. What fun!! It looks beautiful. I want to have tea there. I hear nothing but great things about Butchart Gardens from my mom who has visited a couple of times. It’s on my must not miss list if I ever get up there. I’m looking forward to your images and thoughts on it with trippy glasses. 😀🎄

  3. This looks like such a fun and festive time. I’ve seen/heard of those trippy glasses before. Honestly, when I’m driving at night, all the street/car lights look like that and I swear I don’t take drugs!
I love the Tea room and I could see myself lounging with the Teddy Bears in their room; SO pretty!

    1. I’m looking forward to heading there in 2022 for high tea…hopefully it will be fully open for visitors at that time. It hasn’t been, due to the pandemic. Thanks, Suz 💕

Hi Deb – great to see you all enjoying yourselves … and always fun to see the joy you and Donna (and Richard) are having – love the lights and then my special one – the gingerbread human! Such fun – cheers Hilary

Lovely festive photos Deb, thanks for sharing. Looking forward to your pics of Butchart too as been finding the festive lights somewhat disappointing round hereabouts. They look amazing in the centre of London, but too crowded for us!
