They grow so fast it would seem like you could see them coming up out of the ground if you stood there a little bit. They are beautiful, but I’m always looking for mushrooms (most of ours are tiny) because the puppy girl always puts EVRYTHING in her mouth.
Yes! They do grow so fast and I love to see the progress from day to day. So far Bowser can’t be bothered with mushrooms, and I am very happy about that. Thanks, Dawn 💕
“Every mushroom is edible, some only once” a clever wag once said. Apparently these can get you high but also with a severe case of the trots. That’s a big nope from me. Thanks, Kate 💕
Fun and Fabulous Fungi! I agree, Deb, different varieties of mushrooms everywhere. When Chuck and I were on the West Coast we could actually sit and watch them grow right in front of us. And, no…we were not doing any shrooms at the the time…☺️🍄 Great photos! 💕 Erica
Hi Deb – amazing aren’t they … some so poisonous – one really needs to know one’s stuff/identification. When I was there a forager from Victoria – came to the farm to find and pick mushooms for his/their restaurant – I had his details … so may find them and send them on. If not – I haven’t managed to. It is certainly the ideal place for mushrooms … and they are so delicious to eat (not the death cap ones!) … cheers Hilary
Those brightly coloured ones are definitely not good for eating! I do love mushrooms (to eat) but not confident enough to forage them – I’ll get mine from the grocery store. Thanks, Debs 💕
Fabulous Fungi! … and all in orange, just in time for Halloween 🙂🍄
I wonder how “my” poor little mushrooms are doing with last night’s snowfall! Thanks, my friend 💕
They really are amazing things when you stop to look.
❤️
Absolutely! I wonder how many people walk these woods and don’t even notice them. Thanks, Rivergirl 💕

Just beautiful. Edible? Probably not.

Oh no! Not the trots! I get that affliction from eating air!

🤣 Apparently “those” types of mushrooms grow readily on the west coast of North America. Why am I not surprised? 😉 Thank you, Erica 💕
Spectacular photos Deb! 😍🍄
Thank you, Natalie 💕
We don’t have those in Oz (as far as I know anyway), but I think they are one of the prettiest mushrooms. Lucky you having so many to admire.
I feel very lucky! Thanks, AJ 💕
Hi, Deb – I am seeing more wild mushrooms this month on VI than ever before. But yours are (by far) the most exotic that I have seen! <3
It’s been a great fall for fungi, that’s for sure! Thanks, Donna 💕
Those are some serious looking mushroom. Mother Nature is amazing!
She sure is! Thanks, Jean 💕

My goodness but they are stunners. A pity that the brightly coloured ones are likely to not be good for you!
Not that I like mushrooms, but Himself is a *big* fan.

I want to see little fairies living in those cool houses!
Bowser scares them all away, the little scamp! Thanks, Bernie 💕
🤣
Love this!
Thank you 💕
