Bowser here. Oma has been pretty busy the past couple of weeks so I’ve had to stay over at Mommy and Daddy’s more than I am used to, during the day. There have been big white trucks in the front yard and strangers over at Oma’s. Here is a picture of me looking good at Oma’s – she just washed her kitchen yum-yum room mat and I am decorating it.
Oma asked me to show you what she has been busy with.
Here are the before/in-progress photos.
And here are the photos of after.
Oma is so happy! She says now she has another useful room in her little house.
Bowser says he hopes you have time to play this weekend. Oma says she will be busy painting the entryway.
Rock on,
The Bowz 🐾
He certainly adds something to that carpet
He really does! Thanks, Sheree 💕
It all looks great! But his little face in the last pic… so disappointed.
😉
Thanks, Rivergirl 💕 Not to worry, he wasn’t disappointed for long!
Your house improvements look wonderful. The washer and dryer combo in the bathroom is brilliant. I also like your little friend who just calls to be photographed.
It used to live in my main bathroom, which looks incredibly spacious to me now…with the combo unit removed – another plus! It’s a ventless dryer too, which makes it easy to put just about anywhere. Bowser does indeed call to be photographed 😁. Thanks, Ally 💕
Looking good, Bowser, and Oma’s house too! 💜
Thank you, Natalie 💕
We have a wash tower too and love it. Doesn’t take up too much room and works just fine! Enjoy your new room! So bright and inviting!
Thank you, Kate 💕 I was just mentioning to Joanne on our call this morning how excited I was to do laundry today. Then we both laughed at the absurdity of that statement 🤣.
Yes but I get it. I was like that at first. Then it reverted to….just laundry.
I love your kitchen rug and Bowser only adds to the beauty of it.
So, you ditched the gold toilet, I mean throne? 😜😜
This is such a lovely upgrade. You did good…and you’ll almost enjoy doing laundry now in such a bright, clean space. LOVE THE TILE FLOORS!!
Sigh…such a heartbreaking moment to lose the gold toilet…NOT 🤣. From the…a-hem…pre-existing “decor”, I estimate that room was last touched in 1990, and harvest gold anything was out of date even then. Those tiles are actually peel and stick vinyl, from Amazon! I love how they turned out. Thanks, Suz 💕
The floors are everything!
That’s a lot of work, you will need to be patient with her. It’s going to be SOOOOO good when she’s all done! And tell her I love her rug!
Oma says thank you! She says she ordered it from Ruggable.com, if you are interested. Thank you, Dawn 💕
I have a ruggable by the back door. I should go back and see what’s new!
Bowser is adorable as always and your renovation just screams happy! 🏵🌞 I’m fascinated by your Nellies tins. Is that a real brand or are they decorative? I have an Aunt Nellie who would love those.
That is a real Canadian brand and the tins came from a package of products I bought from their website, I believe (it was a while ago). I use Nellie’s washing soda to clean my clothes and linens. I buy it in bulk and transfer to the tin. Thank you, Bobi 💕
Bowser, be patient and let your mom do her adulting and playing with paint. I promise when she done she will make it up to you and take you one the longest and best walk of the summer.
Oma here – actually I have been doing most of the work before or after our walks. I’ve only skipped a walk when I had the electricians and the plumber on site, and obviously couldn’t leave. Bowser is not telling the whole story! 😉 Thanks, Jean 💕
Thanks for the tour Bowser. I like the renovations and that rug looks good on you.
Everything looks good on Bowser 😁. Thanks, Suzanne 💕
The color in the laundry area is fabulous. Wow!
The colour is by Behr and called Rainwater. I thought it was appropriate for such a room 😁. Thank you, Donna 💕
A small house encourages creative room design, that’s for sure. Your new bathroom/laundry room looks terrific and the bright color makes it so cheerful. Oh, and Bowser is as cute as ever 🙂
I have spent many hours watching YouTube videos on how people address small space living, Janis. A worthwhile investment of my time, I think. And now that the laundry pair is out of my main bath and in this little previously unused room? My house feels SO MUCH BIGGER. I can’t wait until the entryway is done and I am able to get some storage cabinets in there. I will feel like I live in a mansion 😁. Thank you 💕
Wow! That updated laundryroom/bathroom looks amazing. Please tell Oma that she can design renovations for my home any time!
Oma says “Just tell me which room you want redesigned!” Thanks, Donna 💕
Cute re-do! I would have never thought of that flooring. It looks great, especially with the paint color. You have the eye for it!!
Thank you, Tracey 💕 I just love that flooring!
Yeah, my dogs are also tired of my paint brush life style. Looks good Deb.
Thank you, Bernie 💕
Bowser looks like a real sweetie pie!
Oh, he is! Thank you, Theresa💕
