Bowser here. Oma said I could write another dog blog since she’s been busy with a friend from The East (where Oma lived when she was a pup and where she had her pups).
We had just come back from walkies and Oma took this picture because she said I looked especially cute.
Oma and Mommy were talking outside, so I went to find myself something to do.
Even though I am a big dog now – with big dog teeth – I still love to chew, especially on wood or cardboard.
Pure bliss.
I hope you find your bliss this weekend.
Rock on,
The Bowz ๐พ
He does look particularly cute in that photo
Thank you, Sheree ๐. I think so too!
๐
If only we humans were so easily pleased.
A walk, a stick and heโs good.
As well as adorable.
๐
Thereโs a lesson there, about contentment! Thanks, Rivergirl ๐
I get it, Bowser. I like to chew too โฆ although I prefer licorice to wood sticks ๐
Iโm guessing Bowser would chew on licorice too ๐. Thanks, my friend ๐
Bowzer delivered a powerful object lesson this beautiful Sunday morning. Wise pup!
I will let him know! ๐ Thanks, Suzanne ๐
I hope you find your bliss, too, Deb! ๐
Thank you, Jane ๐ And you, as well!
Hi Deb- Bowz is a delight … and frankly I’m surprised he doesn’t hold you and his Mommy’s close attention all the time?! Such is life I guess … he’s got his sticks – rather like Pooh bear – full of philosophical thoughts. Cheers and yes here’s to bliss – Hilary
Bowser is almost never boring to watch. His sole purpose in life seems to be to find his bliss. I think he has cracked the code of life ๐. Thank you, Hilary ๐
They aren’t boring ever … they know their place and are happy in themselves – as you say. So true – is your reply … cheers Hilary
Hi Bowz, It’s nice to know your not just another pretty face but wise beyond your years! But thanks for the cheesecake for those of us who are kinda shallow!๐๐
๐คฃ Bowser is good for cheesecake photos as well as deep thoughts! He is a well-rounded pupper. Thanks, Bobi ๐
If I lived closer I’d want to get in on the dog sitting gig your grandma has, Bowser. If you ever want to run away from home come see me in Michigan.
And if you want to run away closer to home you are always welcome in Parksville! <3
Aww, thatโs so lovely! Thank you, Donna ๐
Itโs a really great gig, I have to say! Thanks, Jean ๐
Big dog teeth! Laughing about that.
Donโt anybody dare tell this dog heโs still little! His teeth are kinda big thoughโฆ๐. Thanks, Ally ๐
Good thing you spent money on the dog toy, so it could be ignored in favor of a stick.
๐คฃ Truth! Thanks, Kieran ๐
Bowser writes such good blog posts! ๐
He’s such a cutie. Is he full grown now?
I believe so. He turned 1 in April. Thanks, Suz ๐
My goodness, such a cutie! and having so much fun!
Hope you are having a good visit with your friend.
It was a wonderful visit! Thanks, Ju-Lyn ๐

The vets say don’t let them chew wood, but dogs love sticks, big or small. Dog or wood! Like someone else say very Pooh wise in his young years.
Thanks, Bernie ๐ Yeah, I donโt think he should chew wood either but it hasnโt done him any harm so far.
We are 51 combined years of dogs lives and not a single stick has ever done any damage, but it was a vet that told me that, so I guess it does happen. Bernie
Am going to start bogs on our online dog newspaper just recommending other lovely doggy sites. No charge, makes lovely reading. With love and woofs. Alison and JET the creative director of HAPPYDOGGYNEWS.COM โฅ๏ธ๐โ๐ฆบ Let us know if you think this is a nice idea for you
Thanks, Alison. But my blog is not strictly dogs.
