Bowser has a bone that he stole found that was gifted to him by our across-the-street neighbours and their dogs. Well, perhaps not willingly by the dogs…I dunno. There is not much left to this bone but Bowser seems pleased nonetheless.
We hope you are spending time with something/someone you love this weekend.
Rock on,
The WB
LOL… little stinker–just daring you to touch his bone!
He gives it up easily enough, which I am glad for. Some dogs get snappy when you try to take away their “precious”. Thanks, Carol 💕
He is a cutie – I love my Schnauzers! One of them does like to chew – it seems to quell her uneasy feelings when she is home alone.
Whatever works! Dogs and humans – we both seem to have our go-to methods of self-soothing, don’t we? Thanks 💕
A dog and his bone. Rather like me and my margaritas…
😉
We’ve all got something, don’t we? 😁 Thanks, Rivergirl 💕
Lovely concluding sentence, Deb. 💕
Thank you, Jane 💕
His version of a blankie!
Exactly! Thanks, Kate 💕
He’s adorable. Keep watch with the bone though, sometimes they get them caught on their teeth, or parts break off that are sharp they swallow.
Thank you, Dawn 💕 Good advice. I am pretty confident that this type of bone won’t splinter but keeping an eye on it just in case.
This little guy is a hoot. I can see he has you trained.
Of course he has! Dog training classes are really owner-training classes. It’s their world and we just inhabit it 😁. Like with cats, except dogs at least try to make you think that you’re in charge 🤣. Thanks, Ally 💕
So, so adorable!
Agreed! Thanks, Sheree 💕
😎
Love, love, love! My Maxie looked just like Bowser with her “found” bones. 🥰🥰
Awwwww! Isn’t that nice 😍. Thanks, Natalie 💕
It might be time to visit your local butcher soon to get another bone for him to chew on. New bone, new tastes. Yum!
If Bowser was my dog, I would! But I leave Bowser’s diet up to his momma…she has specific ideas about what he should and shouldn’t be eating, and at what stage of life. Thanks, Janis 💕
Wait… what? Isn’t the the whole point of being someone’s Oma? To get the little ones high on something they shouldn’t eat then send them back to their parents? I’m sure it’s written in a manual somewhere.
💯 But I’m trying to maintain cordial landlord/tenant relations for as long as possible 😉😁.
I miss that adorable face (and his Oma’s adorable face too). Looking forward to seeing you both again very soon!
Me too! Thanks, Donna 💕Are you back on the island now?
Yup, we’re back now. I’m off to DM you!
My dogs have an old farm house kitchen sink (outside)that is full of bones. Not a one did we buy. They will salvage a bone and drag it home a LONG ways. Even our really old retriever still loves to chew. Lucky Bowser to get to bring his bones inside and have his Oma take pictures of his cuteness!
He is a lucky duck, isn’t he? Thanks, Bernie 💕
Almost forgot to get my Bowser fix today. And all those close-ups didn’t disappoint! Does he know how many dedicated fans he has? Such a sweetie!
I’m keeping him in the dark about that. I want him to stay humble 😉. Thanks, Bobi 💕
Kali does the same wth what’s left of her bones – she plays with them…often in the middle of the night sigh.
There is nothing as noisy as a bone being tossed around a bare floor 😂. We’ve had to hide it from Bowser when he gets on a roll, and entice him to play with something quieter 😉. Thanks, Jo 💕
He’s a cute, little hairy thief!
We have some of those bones and occasionally I’ll add in a little bit flavored stuff to the inside. Not sure what you call it, but it’s made by Kong and it sprays out like cool whipped topping. Peanut loves the peanut butter flavor.
Rock on Bowser!
I’ll have to look for that stuff (and get it approved by Bowser’s mama, of course). Thanks, Suz 💕
He is adorbs with his Score, however it came into his possession. *LOL* And he’s clearly Photogenic. The Grand-Daughter’s Cat likes to confiscate and take possession of certain things.
Thank you, Bohemian 💕 What is it with pets and confiscation of certain items??? At this house, it’s socks (well, anything foot-related actually) and cleaning cloths. 🤣
Deb, there is no doubting that the Bowz is a simply adorable subject, your photography in capturing him at his best also needs to receive plaudits. We appreciate all the time you must spend lying on the floor to capture these gorgeous shots for our weekly pleasure 🙂
Thank you, Debs 💕 My pleasure!
Hi Deb – I’m not quite sure how you’re going to survive being away from him for so long … ? He’ll be so thrilled when you return … just enjoy – but I do love seeing Bowser … I’ll miss him — you – yes, you too, of course!! Cheers Hilary
I am already worried about how I will do away from Bowser that long, and his momma is worried about how Bowser will do without me for that long 🤣. Thanks, Hilary 💕
Once again – my like won’t take … but yes I can quite understand your POV and also Bowser’s momma! You’ll have a permanent companion when you return – unless of course he spurns you?! Cheers … and I probably won’t be able to like this if you comment back! Hilary
I’m sorry you’re having trouble with the Like button. Not sure what the problem is?
Nor do I … don’t worry – just doesn’t happen – I hit the like … and it opens up, disappears … and won’t take – just have a lovely holiday!!! H
I love the photos of Bowser, Deb! Mr. Personality! Pets do keep us in the moment…and, all of that unconditional love.❤️
Absolutely in the moment! And that unconditional love 😍. Thank you, Erica 💕
