The Sunday Schnauzer – Snowstorm Aftermath

This week we had a big dump of snow, which paralyzed the island. But it didn’t stop Bowser! Or did it?

Hmmm…can I do this?
I’m gonna try, Oma!
Valiantly trying to break trail.
But this is our usual route, Oma!
Doesn’t look any better in this direction.
I guess we’ll turn around if you say so, Oma.

We hope you are having fun (in the snow or otherwise) this weekend.

Rock on,

The WB

Hi Deb – that’s a bit of a dump … and if Bowser was outside in one he’d be lost … so glad he can visit from the warm indoors ride the snow waves with his delicate and lightweight self! They love the snow – I always enjoy seeing his adventures … good luck with the slush to follow! Cheers Hilary

    1. My daughter wants to get him one, but has not found one that fits yet. He needs it more for keeping the wet off than for warmth. He has quite a thick double coat on him, naturally. Thanks, Sheree 💕

  2. So cute! Put a plow on him and solve your shoveling issue.
Still no snow for us. We had ripping wind and rain that knocked down my Xmas decorations though.
    😠

    1. Sorry to read about your decorations being knocked down! Yes, Bowser could make a great little snow plow…also one of those rescue dogs with a cask of brandy (like shot glass size 🤣) attached to his collar. Thanks, Rivergirl 💕

    1. It wasn’t really that cold (for a Canadian 😉). I monitor Bowser very carefully when we are out in this weather to make sure he isn’t getting chilled or experiencing icy (or ice in his) paws. So far he is showing no signs of this, and is having too much fun in the snow to be bothered by it. Thanks, Janis 💕
