Here’s how my days are going this summer:
- Spend the early morning (or previous evening) packing up a load to take to the new place.
- Unload into Homer (the storage unit at the new place, so named by the previous owners).
- Go into my unit and prep for renovating, joined by the next door neighbour’s dog, You-Know-Who.
- Clean up the mess made by the neighbour dog.
- Go back to the apartment.
- Rinse and repeat.
Case in point:

Of course he was. Once I stopped laughing. That magenta tongue!!!
We hope you have lots of laughs today and everyday. Here’s a bonus ear worm for you, because I can’t get this song out of my head either.
Rock on,
The WB and
The Bowz
The innocent look only works when you’re not posing in front of your trail of destruction.

The tongue!!

If nothing else…the dead giveaway!
Thanks, Joanne
I love the look of feigned innocence
Oh, my god that purple tongue is hysterically funny. Never a dull moment when there is a puppy around.
Bowser is losing puppy teeth right now, and he is getting into constant mischief as a result! Double the usual amount. Which was already A LOT. Thanks, Jean
Look at the color of that tongue! Oh that’s a sight to behold. What a delightful little scoundrel.
I can’t get mad at him while I’m laughing. Which appears to be a successful strategy on Bowser’s part. Thanks, Ally
Now that is a bright tongue! I never forget when Maya managed to destroy and partly eat two of my Plunge copies. At least she has good taste in books, just like Bowser has good taste in decorative flowers.
Indeed, Maya has very good taste in books! I enjoyed your book so much but never thought of consuming it
. Thanks, Liesbet
Such an innocent face!
Such an angel
. Thanks, Bobi
What a tongue! It’s my favorite color!
It’s a favourite of mine too…now even more so
. Thanks, Kate
It’s like dealing with a two year Deb.
Leslie
It sure is! But at least no one gives you the side eye or calls the authorities if you tie this 2 year old up
. Thanks, Leslie
I thought at first that he got into your hair dye
In Bowser’s defense, SOMEBODY must have left that paper flower out clearly marked “puppy toy” (come to think of it, everything is marked “puppy toy”).
I blame Bowser’s momma! It was her flower, after all
. Thanks, Janis
OMG Marie Osmund and Paper Roses! I desperately tried to get my hair to look like that when I was 14. Yup, you can only imagine the result.
And I am totally with Bowser on tt mystery of the tissue paper. It couldn’t have possibly been him – he is way too adorable. Here’s another earworm for you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_x6QmuJdms
Hi Debs – oh he is adorable … even with the horrors he ‘purples’ around! No wonder you happily smile at his ‘finds’ … cheers Hilary
Dogs are so naturally full of joy (and so good at being clowns) that I find it really hard to mad at them, even when they are creating more work for me…sigh!
Thanks, Hilary
The tongue! Our dogs LOVE paper. It’s so hard to be mad when they’re so adorable.
Ain’t it the truth! Thanks, Kari
Toooo funny by half! Precious — who could be mad at something as cute as that? LOL Thanks for the chuckle.
You are most welcome! Thanks
Puppies. They are endlessly amusing. Until they go to far! Bernie
Which they usually do, if you’re not right on top of them
. Thanks, Bernie
It sounds like a slow-ish endeavor, but I’m guessing you are making progress.

That face. How could you get mad? That flower had it coming! Thanks for the ear worm.
Slow and steady, with the odd hiccup (usually named Bowser
) here and there. It’s a marathon, not a sprint…or so I keep telling myself
. Thanks, Suz
You’re most welcome! Thanks for commenting, HG
That dog needs a better lawyer. It’s a witch hunt.
It IS a witch hunt, and I am the witch doing the hunting
. Thanks, Kieran
Very cute photos of Bowser, as always, Deb. At first I thought the pink whiskers are to match with your hair…and then I see what the cute little culprit was up to.
(btw tried a few times to comment and it would not work…maybe an issue with my site…trying a different route)
Glad your comment got through, Erica! Not sure what the problem is/was. Bowser likes to chew on my hair so he very well could have gotten his beard died that way
but no, it was that paper flower this time
. Thanks
That opening picture got me – until I saw that bright pink tongue, and then it became my favourite. I bet you have problems picking a favourite for more than one minute!
My phone is soooooo full of Bowser pics, as you can imagine. Yes, very hard to pick favourites. Thanks, Debs
