My daughter and son-in-law are away right now on the mainland, leaving me in charge of keeping Bowser and the chickens alive and happy. So far so good. She texted me a couple of days ago to let me know she got a call from the vet that Bowser’s lump is benign. Hoorah!

Bowser is not getting his daily dose of Mommy & Daddy snuggles so that means the burden falls completely on me. Oh woe is me! 😉
I’m not sure how much more snuggle-time I can take! Someone please rescue me from all of the cuteness…LOL!

Yes! The chickens have names but I have trouble keeping them straight when the chickens look similar. I’ll try and feature them more often however this is the Sunday Schnauzer not Hijinks at the Henhouse 😂. (Hey, that actually sounds kinda ok 🤔) Thanks, Bernie💕
Hijinks at the Henhouse is a great title. We also haven’t been treated to a garden tour this year.
That’s because the garden is thriving on neglect 😂. I didn’t plant as much this year and my raspberry canes are taking over everything! But I have been enjoying the berries, figs, pole beans, and various asst’d peas and green onions. I’ll try to do better next year.
Ah raspberries. Great to eat but a constant struggle to contain. Figs…hm did not know they could grow in Canada.
