For about a year now, we’ve been monitoring a tiny bump on Bowser’s head, between his eyes.
And lately we have been noticing it is getting bigger.
So this week, Bowser’s mommy took him to the vet to get it removed and sent to a lab. Results pending in about 2 weeks.
Unfortunately due to the bump’s location, Bowser had to be put under for its removal. We had a very dopey dog on Friday.
But now he is back to normal and begging for walkies.
So far so good with the aftercare. He is not bothering the incision, even when on the occasional cone-respite.

Aww poor Bowz! My cat Sasha had a lump removed on her neck in the spring. Bad spot right over the jugular but she came out of the surgery fine. No cancer and not likely to come back. It took a while for her fur to grow in so Bowser may be eyebrowless for a while! Sending healing hugs (and Sasha sends purrs).

Poor baby! He does better with the cone than my Levi did. He would only walk backward with it on. We finally had to resort to putting a baby’s onesie on him to keep him from pulling out his stitches.
Bowser is taking it like a champ, so far! He never bothered his incision when neutered either. Thank you, Jean 💕
