Oh my. It was an exciting week here in Bowserland.
First off, Mommy is away. So there was a miscommunication between Daddy and Oma about who was giving me breakfast. I ended up with 2 breakfasts on the first day of Mommy’s absence. Can the day get any better? I still miss Mommy though…

Then, later in the week Oma and me heard a big noise down at the creek. I could hear Oma saying “Don’t be a bear. Don’t be a bear. Don’t be a bear…” in that way of hers. We tried to peek between the trees to see what it was.

Of course I had to run down the embankment to bark my head off protect Oma and investigate further. So the herd ran up the other side to get away from my fierceness.

My job done, I went back up the bank to stand with Oma as she was filming.

Oma says we hope you are recovering this weekend especially if you have had an exciting week like us. I say Mommy please come home soonest. We miss you!
Rock on and elbows up!

Can’t beat two breakfasts
“But what about 2nd breakfast?” In a Hobbit accent gets said a lot around here 😉. Thanks, Sheree 💕
Champion protector 💕
Oh my! 2 breakfasts! Penny wants to know how to cause confusion like that! Also her mom was missing all week too. She says she thinks an alian spaceship is beaming up all the mom’s. She’s very concerned but no one is listening to her.
If Bowser ever figures out how to cause this confusion on the regular he says he will for sure let Penny know! Mommy was supposed to be home last night and is now expected today 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻. The aliens (aka airline and their screw ups) are not done with her quite yet apparently 😒. Thanks, Dawn 💕
Nothing like a miniature Schnauzer defending you as you know, Natalie! Pound for pound, no dog is fiercer (or more delusional 😂). Thanks 💕
Two breakfasts AND an elk herd?
That’s one lucky pup.
❤️
And I hope he knows it! 😂 Thanks, Rivergirl 💕
You must have Bowser really well trained that he doesn’t go off out chasing wildlife all the way up to Alaska. My Schnauzer couldn’t be trusted not to chase a wad of paper across two counties, assuming he didn’t get distracted along the way by a rabbit.
😂 I had a dog like that too. But Bowser is a little more cautious (has some common sense? Is more realistic about his actual size and capabilities?) than any other Schnauzer I have known. Thanks, Jean 💕
You must have Bowser really well trained that he doesn’t chase wildlife all the way up to Alaska. I couldn’t trust my Levi not to do that.
Good to see Bowser taking recovery time seriously ❤
He takes it most seriously! 😁 Thank you, Sharon 💕
2nd breakfast is OK as long as he didn’t talk you into elevenses (spell check hates that work but Hobbits don’t).
Shhhhh! Don’t mention elevenses around Bowser!!! 😂 Thanks, Bernie 💕
So glad it wasn’t a bear! Hope you all recovered well!
Thank you, my friend! 💕
Aw. A beautiful sight. My schnauzie would have barked continuously until the elk left.
That’s a schnauzie for ya! Thanks for stopping by, Amanda 💕
