No, I’m not speaking of the cougar family recently seen in my neighbourhood although that has certainly been cause for concern and resulted in foreshortened and/or lack of walkies on the trails lately.
I’m talking about this vicious beast, seen in my garden today.
What is Bowser doing while Said Vicious Beast is cavorting amongst my plants, you ask?
Yes, this same dog who has to run outside and bark if the wind moves the wisteria branches just a little too much CANNOT BE BOTHERED to wake up enough to go outside and chase a bunny.
Luckily, so far my peas and beans are showing no signs of bunny predation. No thanks to Bowser. Hmmmph.

But they are so cute! Not many in our neighborhood. Too many predators.
There are so many young bunnies seen on our trail walks lately. As the season goes on, they become quite scarce. The bunnies either become much more wily or (more likely) they get picked off by all of our predators. Thanks, Kate 💕
