The Sunday Schnauzer – More Spring Flowers And Other Trail Finds

In the spring, the trail is covered in blooms everywhere one looks.

And that makes us bloom (with happiness) as well! My daughter was accompanying us and able to take this shot.
The ubiquitous invader known as Scotch Broom. You can see lots of it in the background of the previous photo.
Thimbleberry flowers
Western Starflower
Honeysuckle
Elderberry
Saskatoon Berry aka Serviceberry
My sharp-eyed daughter spotted this beauty of a barred owl.
How lucky were we to be able to observe it to our hearts’ and eyes’ content.
Speaking of observing, here is the Waiting For A Treat Flower – another ubiquitous feature of the trail.

Have a marvelous weekend, and get out on a trail if you can!

Rock on, and elbows up!

  1. What a cool trail! I’m glad you got to see the owl and the infamous Bowser of course. We have thimbleberries up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Here's where the magic happens. I love comments!
