The Sunday Schnauzer family is away at the moment gathering more content for our Canadian Family Day Long Weekend so I thought I’d share this video that my daughter sent me, while I was away on my Toronto/Barbados adventure.
As Bowser alluded to last week, he does not possess the “retriever” gene so throwing the ball with him presents a bit of a challenge.
However, Bowser seems to have the gene for self-amusement especially when he is given a “fresh” toy to play with. Behold Exhibit A:
Apparently, this “game” went on for the better part of an hour!

Heck I’ve had 2 golden retrievers and they were just like the meme. The yellow retrievers have been better at it but still not stellar. Crazy how they can amuse themselves though. Our daughter’s dog used to throw the ball against the rock wall so it would bounce up and he would catch it.

Penny plays fetch in a similar manner. She runs after the fetch-able item and then stands there until I come and fetch it for her.
