Rainy season is full upon us. Does that stop us from getting out there? Heck no. Rainy walks can be delightful, if you are wearing the right gear. Or if you are a dog who just doesn’t care so long as the human is right there with you.
Let’s go, Oma!The rain reveals pretty rocks that would otherwise go unnoticed.It also brings down the leaves. Here is a big leaf maple leaf. They don’t call ’em big for nothing!There are still plenty on the tree, though.While Bowser is admiring the view above, I am looking elsewhere…Woohoo! My favourite mushrooms are popping up again!Of course, no walk at this time is complete without checking on the Palace of the Mushroom Fairy. This year’s palace is progressing so nicely.Mushrooms sprouting further up the trunk of this dead tree.And here is the progress a week after the above photos were taken.Yes, I believe we’ve both earned a treat. Time to go home and dry off!
