Oma is home (and alone) again, and life is back to normal. I thought Joanne was nice and all, but I don’t like sharing Oma. There, I said it!
I showed up at Oma’s house early in the morning and am waiting outside her bedroom for her to get dressed. Hurry up, Oma! I only have so much patience, you know!Oma says there are more colours to be seen since the last time we walked. I’ll take her word for it. I’m much more interested in how things smell different, than how they look different. Oma says the blue skies are very pretty contrasting with the trees. Time to stop looking at the sky and hurry up, Oma!Oma calls this part of our walk “the Witchy Woods” because it can be dark and spooky on a cloudy day. But today the sun was shining through the trees!Speaking of spooky stuff reminds me of Hallowe’en and that reminds me of treats. I think it is time for one, Oma!
I hope we all get treats this weekend! I hear the humans talking about how it is Thanksgiving. I am giving thanks for walkies and treats.
Is Joanne the same Joanne who used to have a blog. If so, I hope she’s doing well. We just came back from Ontario, and a visit to Niagara Falls. The leaves were turning, but the full fall colors weren’t quite there yet. Looks like BC is about the same.
Yes! The one and the same, and she is doing very well 😁. BC doesn’t get the same fall colour display that the east gets…no purples, reds or magentas…at least not with the native trees. Still beautiful, though. We might be at peak now. Thanks, TG 💕
I remember she was feeling rather distressed a few years ago after her laptop was stolen in France. She hasn’t blogged since, so I’m glad to hear she’s doing well.
Joanne has been trying to comment back to you but the blog won’t let her for some reason so Joanne said I could pass along her message. She’s pleased and touched to be remembered by you, TG…and yes, she is doing fine! 💕
I’m looking forward to hearing about your visit with Joanne. I still miss her witty blog. Special treats to Bowzer for being patient while you were busy.
Hi Debs – doesn’t take long does it Bowzer before you realise what’s what … enjoy your Fall walks … not quite Thanksgiving – almost, but no doubt treats are in store … cheers and welcome home to ‘normal’…. Hilary
Hi Deb, wonderful Fall photos and happy Bowser. I will find the photos of your recent getaway and adventure with lovely Joanne. Happy Thanksgiving! 💕 Erica
Thanks to Bowser for sharing his distress and a weekly pic during your absence. It’s nice to hear the Dynamic Duo is together again. Hope you had a wonderful trip!
I had thought about submitting this post… I have enough photos now for at least 2 more October walks (and there’s lots of October left!) so perhaps the next one will be my Walktober submission. Thanks, Dawn 💕
He looks so happy that you’re back
He is very happy! Thanks, Sheree 💕
Knew it!
Bowz is one happy little hiker!
❤️
He certainly is! Thanks, Rivergirl 💕

Same to you, Erica, and thanks for commenting 💕. I hope to have a post up about Joanne’s visit soon.
It looks like Bowser didn’t punish you for being gone so long. He seems just to be glad to have his faithful servant back…as he should be.
🤣Yes! His faithful servant is back in harness again, for sure 🤣. Thanks, Jean 💕

Thank you very much, Bobi 💕 It was a lovely time and it’s good to be back on the trails with my buddy!
As perfect a Walktober as I have ever seen.

Bowser is happier when Oma is around to spoil him!
That is the truth! Thanks, Kate 💕
Sweet Bowser, taking Oma for a walk 😍
He’s very kind and giving that way! 😉 Thanks, Sharon 💕
All is back as it should be. I hope you gave him plenty of treats to make up for leaving him all alone.
Oh, yes! And lots of ear scritches too! 😁 Thanks, Janis 💕
