Firstly, let me apologize for all of the similar TSS posts lately. I seem to be only taking pictures of Bowser from my living room lately because…well, I am. Our walks are not as photographically interesting as it’s very dry and dusty out, and the creek has shrunk down to a trickle. Plus it’s hard to get a good shot of Bowser when we’re out as he is constantly on the move and ahead of me so they would be a lot of shots of his backside. Which is cute, but gets boring when it’s all you see – trust me on this! 😉
Also, Bowser has decided that he really likes hanging out in my living room. It started earlier this summer when my granddaughter was here. I don’t think Bowser liked sharing his the couch with another person besides Mommy and Daddy. And let’s not forget the chickens. This summer some of the hatchlings lived (in a tote and under a heat lamp) in Mommy and Daddy’s house for a while, and now the growing flock has taken over his the back yard when Daddy lets them out for some free-ranging chicken enrichment activities. So Bowser appears to have picked Oma’s house as his go-to hangout place. And now I have to kick him out most nights back to his house, if I haven’t shut my back gate early enough in the evening and he returned after his supper to sack out once again in his doggy bed.

I’m happy that Bowser likes to relax at my house…although I do feel guilty about him spending so much time with me.
Please enjoy 30 seconds of Bowser gently snoring (sound on!).
And if you like, here is about a minute of Bowser drowsing at my house.
We hope you have a restful weekend.
Rock on, and elbows up!
The WB
I read the first sentence and thought, “She is going to tie up loose ends and end the blog,” so I was surprised. It’s cute he disappears to your house cause he wants more love and couch!
What? Oh no, no plans for that just yet! I understand why you’d think that though, with Donna’s recent announcement. Thanks, Bernie 💕
Wholly understandable he wants to avoid the chickens and hang out with you. In addition, he’s the centre of attention at your place. Just sayin’……………
You are 100% correct, Sheree! 😁 Thanks 💕
Sounds like Bowser literally has the best of both worlds, home and away. Lucky dog….
💕
The pupper’s got choices, and he does exercise them! 🤣 Thanks, Rivergirl 💕
I’ve said it before, ‘No dummy, that Bowzer.’
🤣 How right you are! Thanks, Suzanne 💕
I don’t blame Bowser. I know what it’s like to be surrounded by a bunch of cackling hens. But I’m not naming names.
🤣 We’re becoming more certain every day that some of those cackling young ‘uns are in fact roosters! Isabelle has now been renamed Issaboy and Cleopatra is now a HEopatra 😉. Thanks, TG 💕
Just call each one of them, “they/them.”
Only if those are their preferred pronouns!
He’s lucky he can go to grandma’s house to get away from the chickens. No need to feel guilty. It’s your job to spoil him.
Oh yeah! You’re right, Jean. I forgot all about that part of being Oma 😁. Thanks 💕
He looks very content!
It’s very calming to observe him so relaxed and content. I’m sure you get the same feeling watching your cats. Thanks, Kate 💕
Hi Deb – sensible four-legged chap … he needs his peace, his cuddles and the admiration he gets from your home! Cheers Hilary
They really are smarter than us in so many ways! Thanks, Hilary 💕
Bowzer is lucky to have two homes to choose between. I used to have visiting cats who spent most of the day with me while their owners were at work (whereas I worked from home). The owners knew they visited and were entirely happy as they knew I wouldn’t feed them, so would call when they got home to allow me to send them on their way if they were still with me. I missed them so much when I moved.
What a cool experience that must have been for you (and them!) to be able to enjoy those cats visiting! I’d be missing that too. Thanks, Debs 💕
