Sometimes Bowser sleeps or sits in ways that make me scratch my head in disbelief.
Do your dogs do this? Please reassure me ๐คฃ.
We hope you are finding some comfortable places to sleep this weekend.
Rock on,

No accounting for dog tastes
๐คฃ Nope, not at all! Thanks, Sheree ๐
Hi Deb – dream on Bowser … you’re right, cats too … probably kids also … possibly grown ups, who haven’t been sensible the night before – but Schnauzer-land seems purrrrfect! Cheers happy week ahead – Hilary
Thank you, Hilary ๐ Same to you!
Lord Dudley goes through bizarre sleeping contortions as well. We call that first one the dead position.
๐
Henceforth it shall be named thus, at my place too! The Dead Position. Love it. Thanks, Rivergirl ๐
My cats do weird positions too. Who knows what goes on in that head!
Who knows indeed! Thanks, Kate ๐
The answer is simple, Deb. Dogs are made out of rubber.
๐คฆโโ๏ธ ๐คฃ But of course! I should know this ๐คฃ. Thanks, Jean ๐
My big dogs are less contortionist, but as they just have a dog bed, they don’t have dead dog position options. What I always find fascinating is how, when we have 2, they end up intertwined.
That would be so cute to see! Thanks, Bernie ๐
Giggle. And that last shot! Makes my neck ache just looking at it! And he has longer legs than I imagined.
Makes my neck ache too! ๐คฃ Thanks, Dawn ๐
Yup, my baby used to sleep with her head hanging off the chair…crazy!! I love all of Bowser’s positions although they don’t look all that comfortable LOL
Do they like the blood rush to their heads, maybe? I dunno, but itโs cute and apparently comfortable. Thanks, Sharon ๐
Bowser rests in positions that I can only admire. I have no idea what they mean…but they all make him even more adorable (if that is possible). <3
He is a very cute little mystery to me as well! Thanks, Donna ๐
I’m so jealous! I’m constantly tossing and turning at night and am never comfortable. Bowser looks as content as can be. Good on him, no judgment from moi! – Marty
He is the envy of insomniacs everywhere! Thanks, Marty ๐
Schnauzer slumber is the cutest ever!
It sure is! Especially comforting knowing they are not up to mischief, while sleeping ๐. Thanks, Natalie ๐
Heโs just so cute! ๐ฅฐ
I wish I could sleep like Bowser! โฆ wouldnโt that be heavenly?
๐ค๐ฉถ ๐พ๐ฉถ๐ค
You are not alone in that wish! Thanks, dear sister ๐
Maybe the dogs know something we don’t (Sleep yoga?). They seem much more flexible into older years than we humans who seek only comfort.
They start out more flexible and seem to stay that way, way longer as opposed to us humans. I guess we had to give up something in exchange for opposable thumbs ๐. Thanks, Kieran ๐
