Bowser invited himself over one night, after his Mommy and Daddy were back from their trip.
Suddenly he was at my patio door, in the dark and in the rain. Of course I let him in.
Make yourself at home, why don’t you? I see you brought a friend in as well.
I texted my daughter to let her know that her dog showed up at my place. Then about an hour later, I texted her again to say he was still here. She asked me if he was going to stay the night. So I asked him. And the answer was yes, apparently.
The next morning…
Sometimes your house guest just doesn’t want to leave. Luckily Bowser seldom wears out his welcome.
Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy any unexpected guests that drop in.
Rock on,
The WB
Fun – lucky lad he has choices … and yes to texting: ease of communication, yes to peaceful time at his own choosing … happy weekend – cheers Hilary
Thank you, Hilary ๐. Same to you!
Bowser can come for a sleepover chez moi whenever
Bowser is a pretty good little houseguest even if he is a bed hogger. I think you would enjoy him, Sheree. Thank you ๐
Iโm sure I would
You canโt blame him. With such a beautiful rug and comfy bedspread to lie onโฆ who would want to leave?
๐
Thank you very much, Rivergirl ๐ I love them too.
It looks like you are having so much fun with your granddog.
Bowser keeps me endlessly entertained with his antics. And I can send him back home when I need to. My daughter sometimes asks when I will get my own dog, and I think the answer is NEVER ๐คฃ. Thank you, Bernadette ๐
Perfect houseguest! ๐
Yes! And one I can kick out whenever I need to ๐คฃ. Thank you, Natalie ๐
He may be moving in with you!
I was a little afraid of that. My daughter would be heartbroken. I close the garden gate most nights now, so that when Bowser goes out for his nightly โroundsโ before bed he will seek re-entry to her house and not mine. Thanks, Kate ๐
๐
Me too! ๐๐
I love your sheets and the independent nature of your grandpup. I can see why your situation with him is almost better than owning him outright.
I seem to have the best of all worlds! (And cute bedding, I agree – got it from Zara Home a number of years ago ๐). Thanks, Jean ๐
Bowser’s got the best of both worlds and it looks like he knows it!! <3 <3 <3
He absolutely knows it (I hope!). Thanks, Sharon ๐
Bowser is welcome to sleep over here anytime as well. He is very popular and has tons of options. He can even bring his orange and yellow friend! ๐
Thank you, my friend! ๐ Bowser does like to sprawl out on the bed thoughโฆjust be warned ๐.
My fur nephew sometimes doesnโt want to head home with Mum and Dad, loves his island walks and swims. He is fun to have around thatโs for sure!
I love seeing what Bowser gets into. Have a lovely day.
Thank you very much, Wendy ๐. Have a lovely day yourself!
That is the sweetest thing ever!
I was just reading something this morning, saying that people don’t talk about the importance of grandparents to pets. Obviously, Bowser knows this very well and he is so loved.
Or of pets to grandparents! I know some people a bit older than me that are afraid of getting another pet because of (their) health or longevity concernsโฆto have a grand pet to love could be an answer! Thanks, Suz ๐
So he just comes over when he feels like it?
Yes, if the back gate to my yard is open I’ll often find him dancing at my patio door, hoping to see me to say hi ๐. Thanks, Dawn ๐
He is so sweet and happy with you. He is sleeping on the ๐. Anita
Thank you, Anita ๐
Oh how cute <3 and nice bedlinen too! ๐
Thank you, Debs ๐
What a great arrangement! But no to bed hogs.
The smaller the dog, the more space they take up in the bed. How does that even work? ๐คฃ Thanks, Bernie ๐
