Oma is back! When she walked through my door, I was so excited Mommy said my tail looked like it was going to spin right off my body. Oma picked me up and I never wanted her to let me go. But she did let me go, because she had to go to bed at her house. That was OK because it was me and Mommy and Daddy’s bed time too. Soon it was the next morning and I got to go over to Oma’s house. And now we are walking on the logging roads again!
We hope you are having fun this weekend (and Oma says “getting some rest too!”).

Hi Bowzer – so good to see you both together again … poor Oma she’ll feel so much better in a day or two … a few more walks with you, a meet up with Donna – and life will be back to normal … looking forward to it – welcome home … and frankly here’s to Spring, though I don’t want to wish life away. Cheers Hilary
Thank you, Hilary ๐ Starting to feel more like myself today, and ready to tackle a backlog of emails etc., that Iโve been ignoring while on vacation ๐
This looks like a marvelous adventure! We got a puppy a week ago…after she gets all her shots (she’s 9 weeks old) we hope to do some adventuring too! I’m looking for a harness for her…she’s still little but she likes to slip her collar.
Welcome back. That’s the kind of tired look that comes from having had a very good time. Bowser must have been confused by your absence, but he is obviously happy to have you home.
Yeah, I donโt know what he made of my absence but dogs live in the moment and also moment-by-moment so I am sure he didnโt think about me much at all once he realized I was no longer next door ๐คฃ. Thanks, Suzanne ๐
Probably me!!!! ๐คฃ Bowserโs mommy has been coming home from work at lunch to look after Bowser including taking him for a mid-day walk, while Iโve been away. Thanks, Janis ๐
Oh gosh, he’s super excited, and I suspect, despite the tired, so ate you! It’s awesome to see those trees budding out. I will live vicariously thru you. It seems a polar vortex hits soon once this blizzard goes away!
Oh, it’s Saskatchewan. Not expected for 2 more months. Off skiing again soon, so actually hoping for more mountain snow. Meanwhile, today is a bit about shoveling out!
“in case you wonder why she can’t open her eyes all the way” Hilarious! Welcome back Deb, although I’m sure you’re missing the sunshine as much as being delighted at all the new gorgeous green growth.
Not missing the sunshine just yetโฆthe sun did come out for a few hours yesterday here on the island and that was great to see. Still tired, but getting back to normal slowly but surely. Thanks, Debs ๐
I can only imagine his little heart when Oma returned. I often wonder what our dogs think when we are gone for more than a day: “will they ever return” or “I don’t even remember those people!” Of course, they DO remember us, but you know what I mean. Who knows what is happening in their little dog brains.
BTW: I got your comments some time after my posts; they went into my spam folder while you were traveling. Glad you are home and hopefully you’ll catch up on your sleep soon!
Yeah, that happens to me tooโฆlongtime commenters sometimes end up in Spam for some unknown reason. Maybe because my comments came through a different server???? ๐คทโโ๏ธ I wonder what dogs think too. I know they remember because my dog used to wait by the door for me at the usual time after I fled my 1st marriage (husband refused to hand over the dog). That just about killed me when I learned of it. ๐ญ Thanks, Suz ๐

Good luck – but enjoy being back in whatever world we live in when we’re at home and blogging!! Cheers H xo
He looks delighted that you’re back. He knows who spoils him!
That is for sure! Thanks, Sheree ๐
So sweet! Thereโs nothing like a wagging tail greeting to let you know you were missedโฆ
๐
That is the truth! Thank you, Rivergirl ๐
That vacation went fast (although Bowser didn’t think so!)
It did go fast! Lots happened, and all the air travel was gruellingโฆIโll talk more about it in a future post. Thanks, Kate ๐
I’m living vicariously through you, Oma. Bowser has the best of both worlds in Dog Land. Parents and a loving babysitter who goes on long walks.
He sure does! I have the best of all worlds too! All the joys of dog ownership with little responsibility ๐. Thanks, Jean ๐

Oh, I love this. I am glad you two are reunited! ๐
Thank you, Kari ๐
These photos brought a big smile to my face.
Welcome back home, Oma! You were greatly missed by all!
Thank you, my friend! ๐

Thank you, Natalie ๐
Recovering from an exciting trip! Yay!
Looks like you’ve had as much rain as we have …
And now itโs snowing!!! ๐คฃ Thanks, Ju-Lyn ๐
What a lovely post! I had a schnauzer growing up. They are the best dogs!
Agreed! Tons of personality and they LOVE their people. Thanks, Bridgette ๐
I wish my furry one loved puddles – he really isn’t a fan of water.
Well, he probably stays a lot cleaner and neater that way! Thanks, AJ ๐
Our doggie is miniture Scheduled .
Uh ohโฆI think autocorrect did a number on your comment ๐. Luckily I know what you mean. They are great dogs, arenโt they? Thanks, Anita ๐
Opps did a typo..Miniature Schnauzer her name is Zoe.ha!
