Recently, one of our daily pup-exhausting fun adventures took us to Roberts Memorial Provincial Park, near Bowser’s current home (and my future home!). One thing you may not know about Bowser – he has these contemplative moments (when not sleeping or in action dog mode) where he likes to just sit down and absorb whatever is going on around him. Something about this walk really brought out this side of him…or maybe he just wanted me to pick him up and carry him around 🤷♀️. Who knows? This is the Zen of Dogs…😄
After another 1 km walk back through the forest to get to the car, we headed to Bowser’s home for some snacks and a rest.
We hope your weekend is going great, and you have plenty of time for contemplation…
Bowser is adorable! But of course you already know that. I loved this post, it reminds me of all the adventures my girl and I had. It’s a wonderful way to live, the way Bowser lives. We could all learn to relax a little and contemplate life.
He’s learning how to pose for photos, isn’t he. Just like little kids these days. Sometimes he looks like he’s thinking, “Let’s just get this over with, grandma.” Other times he’s showing us his happy face. I love Schnauzer Sundays.
Me too! I’ve been painting walls and trim at my daughter’s new place and I find I can only do about 5-6 hours a day before I need to go home and “pull a Bowser” 😁. Thanks, Donna 💕
Nope my weekend was all “dog tired” and not much contemplation time but that’s how it goes sometimes. He’s definitely a cute little guy. Think he has someone wrapped around his leash 😉
I think mini Schnauzers are pretty much perfect as family pets. If you want to go on a 10K hike, they are there for you. If you want to binge-watch Netflix all day on the couch, they are there for you. A lot of personality packed into a small dog (that thinks it’s HUGE) 😁. Thanks, AJ 💕
He is just perfect … what a delight to see … and such a perfect companion – gives you time to rest as you wander round! Bowser is just brilliant … and in a few weeks you’ll be on his doorstep – interesting times ahead … cheers – lovely photos – Hilary
Bowser is just so darn cute
Thankfully he is blissfully unaware of (the power of) his own cuteness 😁. Thanks, Sheree 💕
Probably just as well
I just love that shaggy little face!
You are definitely not alone! Thanks, Rivergirl 💕
I swear I’m getting addicted to these posts. Browser is just the cutest dog ever!
Well, so far as addictions go this one is not too bad, right? Thanks, Bobi 💕
Looks like Bowser and I were in the same frame of mind this week. Chill!
Chill indeed! Something we all need to do more of. Thanks, Suzanne 💕

Dogs have so much to teach us, if only we pay attention. Thanks, Dawn 💕
Bowser looks exactly like my beloved Maxie! So fun to see this! ❤️
I’m glad! I see a lot of my beloved dogs (on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge now, as the kids say) in this one. Thanks, Hot Goddess 💕
What a sweetheart! A nice break from ant duty in my kitchen and living room.
Ant duty? I’ve been there, not fun. Happy to provide this break for you. Thanks! 💕

I love creating them! Thank you very much, Jean 💕
It’s good he’s a small dog. I can’t see you picking up an 80 lb. shepherd because they were busy doing zen!
I can’t see that either 😂 Thanks, Kate 💕
He is so stinking cute! I love this zen side of his personality, and it probably gives you a bit of a rest too.
It’s an interesting side to Bowser, that’s for sure. Thanks, Janis 💕
Wonderful moments! You are moving?
Yes! Have to be out of my apartment by Aug 31. Moving into a separate unit on my daughter’s property. Thanks, Liesbet 💕
Now that’s what you call perfectly relaxed. I soooo envy that! 😀

😁 Yep, absolutely wrapped around his leash! Thanks, Bernie 💕
🥰
Sooo cute. Our last dog was a Schnoodle (schnauzer/poodle cross) so I have a very soft spot for schnauzers, especially little ones.

What an adorable poppet!
Agreed! Thank you, Cathy 💕
such a cute little furry face, and so nice of him to walk you. (wink)
He’s very thoughtful that way 😉. Thanks 💕
The way he poses!! Oh my goodness…❤️
I know, right?! Thanks, Kari 💕

Thank you, Hilary 💕 Yes, interesting times ahead!
Deb, you’ve taught your grandpup well about balance in all things 😉
Hmmm…I think Bowser is the teacher here! 😁 Thanks, Debs 💕
